kids are funny.

Some of the hilarious things the kids at K-Homes have said...

“God Bells You” and “God has a Plant for You” – written in birthday cards from eight year olds, who meant to say “God Bless You” and “God has a Plan for you”

**HUGE GASP** “You mean a cow that is holy????” – a nine-year-old’s response, accompanied by the most disgusted look and hand clasped to her chest, to Annie saying “Holy Cow!” to something the kids were doing.

Elyssa: “The Israelites were coming out of Egypt and in front of them is the Red Sea. Who is behind them?”
All the small kids in devotion: “JESUS!”
Elyssa: “Uh, nope, the Egyptian army”
Straight from devotion time where the kids’ main answer is “Jesus”, even in the most inappropriate & illogical times.

Elyssa: “Who wants to tell about what we learned last week?”
6 year old boy: “Well, God created a man and a woman, and then the woman ate the biscuit.”
Elyssa: “You mean the fruit?”
Boy: “Yea, the fruit…”

True Love Waits – Written on the front of my birthday card with a drawing of a mermaid. The seven, eight, and nine year old girls who drew it wrote small encouraging phrases on the front such as “You are adorable”, “God Bless You”, and then “True Love Waits” – they have absolutely no idea what it means - only that it’s the saying on their big sisters’ rings.

“I know that left-handed people write faster than right-handed people. The Holy Spirit told me in a dream [pause]. Or maybe not, I don’t know if He told me. But I know left-handed people write faster.”

Oh these kids are great.
